Provided graphic design, illustrations, and concept logos for web banners, pamphlets, and posters displayed at the Hong Kong Arts Centre and the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) in Hong Kong, which boasts over five million trips made in an average day - more than half of Hong Kong's population of over seven million.
In 2010, "A Lean Night" films series curated and screened film noir classics from the 1950s through the 1970s in their original 16mm or 35mm format at the prestigious Hong Kong Arts Centre. The following year, it curated highly acclaimed and visionary films from all over the world made within the last decade, including Paranoid Park and All About Lily Chou-Chou, which provided the inspiration for the key visuals of the "A Lean Night - FRESH!" film series. The film series was a unique opportunity to view movies in their original, intended state that appealed to film enthusiasts and was meant to foster an eclectic art community in Hong Kong. We chose a dark and depressed theme for the key visuals in order to appeal to the brooding and idiosyncratic souls of the city.
